{the New Year is coming...}

I can't believe it's almost 2010...

I'm thinking about the New Year...and things that I'd like to do at the Savvy Photographer. I really didn't imagine when I started this little fun blog that it would become such a fun place of inspiration for photographers. I remember the day we launched the site, August 1st...and how the entire family checked the stats all day...we were all so excited, and when we hit 100 visitors that day, we all squealed with delight! I had hoped that it would be a place of inspiration...and I'm happy to say over 100,000 people have been inspired! What a great 5 months it has been!

I'm starting to think about the changes I'd like to make in the New Year...what about you?

Have you thought about your plans for 2010? What things will you do differently? This is a great time to decide the things that worked...and the things that didn't. What things brought you joy? If you doesn't bring you joy, then change it.

It's a New Year...change is good!

Speaking of change...did I mention our vacation we will be taking this summer? We have decided to spend a year in Japan...ok...the Navy has decided we will spend a year in Japan! My husband has been offered a great job as CO of a ship...one he didn't want to pass up. So we are heading to a new country for a year...and the great thing is the Savvy blog will travel anywhere! Change is good...right?

ahhh....we made it through Christmas! We had a wonderful white Christmas that was relaxing and just perfect! The children are happy...and the best part is that we were all together. Being a military family means not always spending holidays together...we are blessed he was home and we enjoyed every minute of it!

So it's back to work here at The Savvy Photographer!

I'm off to wrap some {lots} of presents...the UPS man delivered 9 packages from Amazon last night {Santa had arrived}. I must admit i just discovered the true bliss of Amazon...being snowed in for three days gave me lots of time to finish up my shopping...online with free two day shipping....gotta love it. If you still need gifts, Amazon has free one day shipping for the best gift of the year, the Kindle . Another great last minute gift...magazines for $5 a year...and two of my absolute favorites on sale are Southern Living and Coastal Living . We are all home today...everyone...my kids, my husband...schools are closed due to the snow...goverment workers are home {yay} and we are enjoying the day together in our winter wonderland! The Holidays are here...enjoy them!!!
