giveaway from Photographer Cafe

Photographer Cafe is known for its gorgeous, practical products for marketing your photography business. We understand that January is often filled with plans for the upcoming year. We are here to help with tools that will simplify the process of getting the word out and presenting your business beautifully and professionally to prospective clients.


Photographer Cafe is giving away its two newest designs, the Pretty Album and the Pretty Marketing Trifold. The Pretty Album may be used as a little "traveling portfolio", while the trifold is a perfect "mini portfolio". With this pair of products in hand, be ready to impress prospective clients when they ask about your work, whether that be at the PTA meeting, in the doctor's office, or at the salon.

    What am I not working on this January is the better question....a new blog, creating newsletters, and new online welcome package, including what to wear, policies, etc. Love to start the new year off right.     In January, I'm working hard on getting all of my marketing material stream-lined and consistant, since I just launched my business last fall.     Working on my marketing calendar for the year, setting spring mini sessions, beach dates (I photograph in Destin Fl each year), Holiday dates, and re-working all materials for clients.
    Designing ads for the year so they are ready to go at deadline, and re-vamping the office to bring images on the walls up to date, tired of looking at the same thing day after day.

    What am I not doing to increase marketing in my 2nd year of business? I redid ALL of my forms (color coded), created a bifold handout with basic info and some photo samples. Purchased products to show clients to give them a better idea of what the product will look like in their home. Revamped my website with a contact form. Still thinking of more ways to increase sales and boost my sessions. Anything helps. Thanks for the giveaway.

    In helping market myself better this year I've taken advice from fellow photographers and instructors on how they have been successful. I plan to really personalize my clients experience and offer some unique sessions and keep in mind the advice, mix them both together and click away. It's going to be a great year!

    I am working on several pieces of marketing~ after changing my pricing structure to do away with session packages and add collections, I am needing to have a new pricelist and a mini catalog of all the items available (gallery wraps, greeting cards, frames, albums etc.) Thanks again for the giveaway!

    This month I have changed the named of my business to from "Julianne Martin Photography" to "True Light Photography". Why? Because Jesus Christ had everything in my life except my business and it was high time I let Him be part of that too.

    A new name means a new blog, new business cards, and a new Facebook page.
    I'm very excited for all of the changes!

    I am opening my new studio space in March so I am starting to book clients for the first appointments! I also redesigned my business cards and am trying to pass them out wherever I am and see Moms with adorable kids whether it's the grocery store or sledding with my kids.

    I am in the process of marketing so many things -- A Mad Mimi campaign I want to do for the first time since I am getting 1000 future bride email from a wedding show I did, referral cards, new albums, marketing to parent at my daughter's new preschool...and the list goes on. :)
