Photography Blogs We Love

I am blogger... and I became a blogger because I LOVE reading other blogs. I get inspired looking at the work of others...I get motivated to "decorate my walls" after seeing the beautiful things others have done...I get pure jealous sometimes looking at things I'll never have...but most of all...I get my creative juices following. 

I wanted to share with you some of my favorite photography blogs...and I have many! I'm sure you know about most of these...but just in case you don't, I'm happy to introduce you to some blog friends!

  

The first is Laura Winslow Photography. She is a photographer in the Phoenix area and she has one of the best "fun and colorful" blogs out there! She has a weekly series called "Wall Art Wednesday" and I love it! She shows many great displays of wall art (hence the name)...and I look forward to it every Wednesday!

Another favorite place is the Clickin Moms blog. 

They have a wonderful forum for photographers but if you aren't ready to join a forum, the blog is a great place to learn and be inspired! They also a fun store for products just for photographers.

Happy Monday!

It's Monday...and it's Spring! The birds are singing outside my window as I type...and the flowers are blooming. This weekend we took a drive and I was in awe of all of the wisteria blooming here in Georgia. It's amazing! It is my favorite flower of all time...and it only blooms for short time. But it takes my breath away with its beauty! The picture below is an iphone picture so don't judge.

I'm still recovering from my trip to North Carolina last week. I flew into Raleigh for a super fun project but I can't give all the details yet. I starred in (still makes me laugh when I say that) a promotional video for a new product from a major company...crazy exciting and I was so nervous! I filmed with another blogger who was amazing to work with (she's a pro when it comes to filming so she made it fun and helped calm me)...soon I'll share all the juicy info about the filming. And you'll get to see the video (unless I completely made a fool of myself...then you might not see...I'm kidding...maybe). I was feeling good about it all until I saw a picture of myself filming..and it's sad when you realize what you really look like instead of that picture you have in your head...I think I still envision that younger, skinnier, cuter version I left behind years ago. But...it is what it is...we all get older and should be thankful for that...just wish getting cuter was the part of the aging package..not the opposite :)

Now for something fun...cute chairs! At least we can make our surroundings look good, right? Love these chairs from Joss and Main...super cute for a studio or home office...and a great price!

Seniorologie Workshop is next month...

Seniorologie Tour is coming to Atlanta next month and they have three seats left! I'm so excited to have the opportunity to join these wonderful ladies the first night for the pre party! 
The workshop will be held at the Inn in Serenbe. My family did a day trip to this adorable town several weeks ago and I fell in love with Serenbe! It reminds me of the Rosemary Beach homes in the middle of a beautiful rural area just 30 minutes south of Atlanta.  The Inn is so charming...and the perfect place for a fabulous workshop!

hello March...

It's the first day of March...and I intended to blog about the fun things we have planned for the month.


But right before I logged in to the blog, I clicked on CNN and watched the story about the high school shootings in Ohio...and listening to the mom of Daniel Parmertor talk about her 16 year old son who was killed in the shootings. I cried...still have tears running down my face...and I am filled with sadness for these families.  Anderson Cooper talked with the mom on the phone as she described her son and told about how excited he was to get his first paycheck from the job he had just started two weeks earlier. She said all he could talk about was what he would spend the paycheck on...maybe an iphone or new skis...and then she said that they will bury the check with her son...it's his check and she wants him to have it...tears again here...and all I want to do right now is hug my two boys...when I send them off to school each day, I assume they will always come back...God Bless the three boys that did not come home that day. And I pray for all those injured...and ALL of the families involved.
