Vendor week day two

Welcome back to day two of vendor week! I hope you are enjoying it so far. It's fun to know a little more about the people who create and inspire us!

MADI LU DESIGNS

Tell us your name and the name of your business…

Kim Drury from MadiLu Designs

Describe your business in five words…

Designing with photographers in mind

Do you work out of your home {in your jammies} or do you work out of an office/studio?

I have a home office so you'll find me in anything from my robe, to tights, knee socks and Uggs. I try not to scare off the mailman!

Where can we find you on your time off?

I spend as much time with my husband and four kids as possible when I have down time. We enjoy family movie nights with lots of popcorn! We just watched Fred … worst. movie. ever! I volunteer at my children's school and most would be surprised to know I'm the president of the PTO this year. :)

Why do photographers need your product/service?

MadiLu Designs is great for a photographer looking for something a little different. It's all custom so you get something that fits your personal style and send the client a professional message.

Tell us which celebrity you look most like or tell us your favorite joke...

I don't think I look like anyone and I am a bad joke teller!! Try this … how do you wake up Lady Gaga? Poker Face :)

Thank you Kim! We love your designs and talent!

Check out MadiLu on facebook and become a fan!

Creative Photoshop Actions and 1:1 Mentoring

Jammies from the comfort of my home all the way!

Where can we find you on your time off?

Chilling with my kids, reading them books, tickling their tummies or taking them rollerblading.

Why do photographers need your product/service?

My 1:1 mentoring sessions and artistic Photoshop actions are an invaluable investment for all photographers, from beginner to pro, because they not only provide the tools and techniques necessary to elevate their work to a new level, but they also help refine their skills and empower them to bring creative life, character and personality to their photographs.

Tell us which celebrity you look most like...

The celebrity I most look like would have to be Lady Gaga in a meat suit and bubble wrap. ;-)

Thank you Michelle!

Michelle is offering a discount for purchasing her HeARTy actions. $20 off. To get the discount...go to her facebook page and click discounts.

When I initially commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get three e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Cheers!

Great blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers? I'm planning to start my own website soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I'm totally overwhelmed .. Any suggestions? Bless you!
