  1. no way are you a flake. I think it would be more flakey to take peoples money knowing your heart/time/energy isn't in it. I think you are wise and honorable :) I think you should be respected for knowing your limits!

    have a sweet day.

  2. A flake, no way, In todays world to see gut wrenching honesty and the right thing be done, is a breath of fresh air. You made the right decision you dont get that time back with your kiddos.

  3. I disagree with your hubby...not a flake at all! I think you would have been a flake if you didn't cancel it right away. No harm done ;)

  4. Not flakey at all and totally understandable! I know how much work you put into the workshop. And I don't blame you for not wanting to leave your children in another country without a relative! That's being a good mama and in the end, that's our first job!

  5. Children absolutely must come first. If your readers have any priorities, they will understand this, and won't lose respect for you. If anything, they will respect you more for doing what's most right for your family.
I know this was difficult for you, and I hope noone tries to make you feel badly about it.

  7. I think you're an amazing woman! Too many people let their careers get in the way of the most important institution created! FAMILY! God first, family second, all the rest follows. I commend you for doing what is right in your heart and for putting your family first. *HUGS*

What you did in this post must have been difficult, but how awesome that you can follow a gut instinct and know the order of your priorities. Good for you!
