{minted}

Look at the goodies I received in the mail...from Minted.com.
If you haven't already heard about them, here's the 411 about them.

Minted.com, a new online resource for modern custom stationery, just launched their 2009 holiday card selection! The fresh designs, sourced from independent designers around the world, establishes Minted as the leading premium online destination for Holiday Photo Cards. Minted's selection not only suits the modern, design-conscious family, but is designed for serious paper lovers as well. Minted's signature paper is among the thickest in the photo card industry, with a 30% cotton content that adds a luxurious, soft texture usually reserved for fine stationery. In addition, Minted is the only major online retailer that offers photo cards printed on 100 percent post-consumer recycled paper. For the perfect finishing touch, Minted also offers a luxe shimmer paper and a delicate rounded corner option.

This year, Minted also introduced a unique new format, the minibook card, which features four pages bound by chic grommets into a tabbed booklet. The minibook card can accommodate up to seven photos showcased alongside a narrative of your family's year.

Minted also offers a Yearline™ Card, which features a photo in the front, and opens up to reveal family milestones highlighted in photos with corresponding captions.

Each design can be fully customized online - consumers can upload their photos, preview their selection and place their orders at Minted.com. A professional designer creates a personalized proof for the buyer to approve before printing begins. Consumers can also purchase matching address labels for a completely coordinated presentation.

They have an awesome photographers program where you can leave your printing, card design, and customer service needs to them. Your clients will love their unique designs and luxurious, premium paper (130 lb. matte – thicker and higher end than other online stores). You will love the convenience and 10% profit with no additional work. They will also print your studio name on the back of every card order you place or refer.

You will receive a Minted storefront with a unique, personalized URL that you create. This storefront will act as your personal home on the Minted site, and you will be able to recommend premium paper products to your clients here. Feel free to look through our collection and select the Minted designs that best showcase your photography, or, if you prefer, you can simply highlight our most popular designs. The payoff? Easy-to-set up web presence at no cost and exposure in a diverse, respected community of designers and photographers.

To sign up for the photographers program, it's free. Click here to start Minted.com...and then come back after you have signed up and leave us a comment stating that you are now enrolled in the photographers program.

{and for those that leave a comment after you have enrolled...I'll enter you in the drawing for a Savvy Canvas Collection Template set!} Make sure you leave your name with your comment...or business name {whichever name was used to enroll in the program}. The drawing for this will be held next week...Saturday, November 14th at 5pm pacific.

  30. I have had the opportunity to meet Ellen personally at our last PPGBA meeting all I can say is, "SWEET." Although I love to do card designing myself, and buy templates and make my own creations, sometimes the time just isn't there and the additional funds for all the cute stuff that is out there and clients sometimes feel intimated. Minted.com gives the client more control from what they want, and provides a greater variety for them to choose from with a constant evolving design line. Thanks Ellen for such a great idea and thanks Marsha for the interview!!!
