ReplyDeleteHow exciting!! And in case I forget, Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteBest advice my Mom gave me. I heard it often when I was growing up and I hated hearing it every time she said it. But now that I'm an adult and a Mother, I can finally appreciate it. Advice: "Kris, the world doesn't revolve around you." Plain and simple.
ReplyDeletewhat would you tell your mom now if you could {and if you still have that chance, have you told her? what is stopping you?
ReplyDeleteMy mom and I were never very close when I was growing up, but her bout with breast cancer a decade ago brought us together and we have been the best of friends since then. When her mother died, they hadn't talked in a year due to a silly arguement, so I make sure I tell my mom that I love her and how important and amazing she is as often as possible!
ok I hope I have the right place to post because these prizes are beyound FANTASTIC!!!! The thing I would want my children to know about me - I would want them to know that their mom loved them from the moment they were conceived they were of importance. That I loved the Lord with all my heart, that I wanted them to fly and to always reach for their dreams, even when others said their dreams were to big!
ReplyDeleteBest Advise my Mom gave me is to never give up and I don't.Happy Mother's Day!!!
ReplyDeleteBest Advise my Mom gave me is to just be myself and if other people do not like that, that is too bad.
ReplyDeleteWhat would I tell my mom now?...
ReplyDeleteI'd tell her that I love her and how much I look up to her wisdom and that I would not be the woman I am today without her.
What is stopping me from telling her?...
Nothing. I'm saving the mushy stuff for our mothers day luncheon :)
On another note...can't believe I just found this site today! What a great resource for photographers.
What I would like my children to know is that they can't possibly have a clue as to the depth of my love for them and just how proud I am of each one of them. I am not only proud of their accomplishments in life, but that they are "good human beings", that to me, says that I did my job as a parent.
ReplyDeleteWhat I would tell my mom now is that she had a tough job raising four kids and trying to hold down a job but she instilled alot of values that I have carried with me my whole life. Thanks Mom !!
ReplyDeleteI just realized that the post I submitted I neglected to add my last name..Missy should be Missy Wilson !
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving here and making Mom's day special!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the one thing you would want your children to know about you if you weren't around?
I would want them to know if I wasn't around physically that I still am there and connected to them in another deeper form. Also I hope that I taught them that everything they need to florish in this world can be found inside of them and not just around them. That when one finds their passion like I have with photography it enables one to tap into their creativeness which brings joy and thats what we all are here to experience. FInally that they know that I will always be their Mom unconditionally.
Best advice my mom gave me it to treat others that way you'd like to be treated.
ReplyDeleteIt's very simple but so true and an important value I pass on to my children.
Happy Mother's Day!
If I were not around I would want all 6 of my girls to know that they are my constant source of joy, I really never minded being a slave to the washer and dryer, and that to listen to God for the source of direction as to what their gift to the world is.
ReplyDeletebest piece of advice given..

"It is a funny thing about life; if you refuse to accept anything but the best, you very often get it"
-- W. Somerset Maugham
