leaving Japan

I leave Japan in about 12 hours...and I will not be returning. I had planned to leave for just a week and return for three more weeks. But my plans have changed. My mom needs surgery and I need to be there. The next month will be super busy which means the Savvy blog might get a bit neglected. I'm planning a few things in advance but I can assure things will get backed up just a bit. Please be patient with me during this time that I need to spend with my mom. The last few days here have been filled with tear filled goodbyes...leaving is harder than I thought it would be. Leaving here will be bittersweet.

  4. Don't worry about us! We'll be waiting right here for you to get back and thinking of you the whole time. Take care of home first and everything else can come next. Easier said than done, huh? I pray you have a safe trip and just think of the hellos you'll get when you get to the states. Prayers for your mom as well.
